HowToStudy.ie is operated by Hillpair Ltd (Company Reg. No. 791184), registered office 184 Ballinclea Heights, Dublin A96 C4A3, Ireland. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
1. What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, the student's school year, and any notes you choose to share. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 16.
2. How we use it
We use your data solely to match you with a suitable independent study coach and to follow up on your enquiry. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
3. Sharing with coaches
With your consent (given when you submit the enquiry form), we share the minimum information needed with the coach we refer you to so they can contact you directly.
4. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission. To exercise any of these rights, email info@howtostudy.ie.
