The skills that make studying actually work.
Most students put in the hours. Very few have been shown how to use them. This is what a Study Skills Block changes. Over typically 5 sessions, your child learns a clear, repeatable method for approaching any subject — how to plan a study session, how to retain what they read, how to test themselves honestly, and how to build the habit of studying without being nagged into it.
Planning and structure
How to break a subject down into manageable parts, build a realistic study schedule, and know what to do every time you sit down to work. No more staring at a pile of books wondering where to start.
Active recall
The single most effective study technique there is. Your child learns how to test themselves on what they have read, identify what they actually remember versus what only feels familiar, and use that gap to focus their revision.
Exam technique
How to read a question properly, plan an answer before writing, manage time across a paper, and avoid the small mistakes that cost the biggest marks.
AI tools
How to use tools like NotebookLM, Claude, and Quizlet to turn notes into quizzes, podcasts, and flashcards — and how to use them actively rather than as a way to avoid the work.
Progress tracking
Scores are recorded each session. Your child sees their improvement in black and white, and so do you.
Who this is for:
Students who study hard but do not see results. Students who do not know where to start when they sit down. Students preparing for 5th or 6th Year who want to build strong habits early. Students who rely too heavily on grinds and want to become more independent.
